is there an accessible route to the food bank?
The Village Food Bank Location:
Hanover Room (Floor 2)
Brighthelm Centre
40 North Road
Brighton
BN1 1YD

You can reach the building through the wheelchair ramp located near Afrori bookshop.

Check this Instagram post for more detail.

Scroll down for a video of the route!
The venue has a lift and there is a gender neutral accessible toilet on both the ground floor and floor 2 - where the food bank is located. Doors and a slope can be tricky, please let us know if you need help and a volunteer can help you at reception.

-
5 minute walk from North Street - which is served by almost all of the buses in the city.
-
1 minute walk from the North Road bus stop - served by the coastal buses such as the number 12 and 14, as well as the number 7 bus.
-
10 minute walk from Brighton Train Station.

We aim to launch a delivery service in the future (it’s really tricky to set up with insurance etc). If you can’t make it to us, someone else is welcome to collect items on your behalf.
